Yes! In fact we can provide services throughout BC virtually.
What areas in the Okanagan do you service?
Vernon, Armstrong, Lumby, Lake Country, Kelowna
Do you work with funding providers?
Yes! We can assist families with applying for Autism Funding, JFE forms, Jordan's principle, At Home funding for school aged services, Variety Funding, CKNW funding.
We are able to direct bill to these funding partners.
What questions should I ask my insurance provider?
- Does my plan provide coverage for my child’s occupational and/or speech therapy?
- Is coverage per family or per individual? How much per family member yearly for Speech and Language therapy?
- Is there a maximum hourly rate? (this would be for your knowledge only.)
- Are consultations covered? - If consultation is covered, we may be able to bill a portion of the therapy to either of you (parents) as we consult with you on your child.
- How many visits are allowed under my insurance plan?
- How much is my annual deductible?
- Are there any exclusions to therapy coverage?
- Are assessments or program planning time covered?
What if I don't have funding?
SLP services are often covered by extended health benefits. We strongly encourage that you check with your health insurance carrier directly. Families will be invoiced for services and once paid, can be submitted to the insurance provided for reimbursement.

Where are services offered?
It depends on the therapist. Some will work in your home or out of a home based office. Sometimes therapy can take place at a private school or at the library. Discuss with your therapist about options that would be a good fit for your child.
